When it doesn't exist yet,
I design it.

What I do

Good design shouldn't cost a fortune.

Too many 3D designers charge a lot for very little. I keep it fair, fast and precise — and I actually enjoy solving the tricky ones.

Custom 3D design

From a rough idea, a photo or a broken part, I design a clean, production-ready 3D model in Fusion 360 — mechanical or organic.

CNC & 3D printing

Designs turned into real, physical parts — 3D printed or CNC-machined — in the material and finish that fit the job.

Replacement & reverse engineering

That discontinued clip, bracket or fitting you can't find anywhere? I redraw it precisely and make it exist again.

How it works

Problem → drawing → solution.

A simple, transparent path from "this doesn't exist" to a part in your hands.

STEP 01

The problem

You send a photo, a sketch or the broken part and tell me what it needs to do.

STEP 02

The drawing

I design a precise 3D model and share a render so you can check it before anything is made.

STEP 03

The solution

The part is 3D printed or CNC-machined in the right material, and tested to fit.

STEP 04

In your hands

You get a working part — and the design stays on file, so re-orders are easy.

Selected work

Real problems, solved.

A few of the parts I've designed for clients. Each started as something that simply wasn't for sale.

A small, honest selection — designed and made in Brussels. More coming as I go.

Invention

Qwirol

The one-handed kitchen roll holder I invented, designed and engineered from the ground up — from the first sketch to a working product.

Tear a sheet with one hand — no wrestling, no clatter, no roll spinning off the counter. Qwirol is the kind of everyday object that's usually an afterthought, so I redesigned it properly.

About
Edward Van Baelen

Hi, I'm Edward.

I'm a Brussels-based violinist by training who fell for 3D design and never looked back. What began as curiosity in Blender became a real craft in Autodesk Fusion 360 — and today I design precise, production-ready parts for people and businesses who've been told "that doesn't exist" or "that'll cost a fortune."

I don't think it should. Whether it's a discontinued clip, a one-off bracket, or a full invention like the Qwirol kitchen-roll holder, I love the puzzle of turning a problem into a part that simply works.

Every project is drawn from scratch, tested to fit, and priced fairly. If you have something in mind, I'd love to hear it.
